Plane Bed

A bed frame reduced to its geometric minimum — a flat steel profile floating 160mm above the floor on four tapered legs. The headboard is a single vertical plane of 4mm steel, its surface left with a subtle mill scale before waxing.

Made for a Stockholm apartment where the brief was: nothing decorative, nothing unnecessary. Plane Bed is the honest answer.
