Arc Bench

A bench combining a solid oak seat with a subtly arced steel base. The arc is cold-bent from flat steel bar in a single radius, giving the piece a sense of tension and movement despite its stillness.

Commissioned for the entrance hall of an Amsterdam townhouse, Arc Bench works equally well as a functional seating piece or a sculptural object.
